Fifth Annual ICORE Southwest Regional Regional Revolver Championship

October 5, 2002

 

The Fifth Annual Southwest Regional Revolver Championship was held at the superb Ben Avery Shooting Range in Phoenix, AZ on October 5, 2002. A total of 59 shooters enjoyed clear skies and great stages in the match run by Match Director Steven Bressan. Rachelle Milkovich and her helpers provided a tasty spaghetti lunch. After the match Mike Ballard demonstrated some new shotgun modifications available from Knox Industries and Tim Milkovich sponsored a "hands on" demonstration of subguns for those willing to pay for the ammo.

Overall Match and Open Class winner for the fifth year in a row was Vic Pickett. Limited Class was won by Angus Hobdell. Paul Wetzel was Statistician and Terry Allison was Chief RO for the match. Lewis scoring was used.

A generous prize table courtesy of Dillon Precision, Ed Cameron gunsmithing, Billy Bullets (Rudy Warren), ADCO and Rich Richards plus several revolvers provided by Match Sponsor Smith & Wesson delighted all in attendance.
